The Farmville Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the management of Roses, held a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony on Thursday, June 3. Farmville's newest retail establishment offers a combination of “Value-Priced” merchandise that includes clothing & shoes for the entire family, home furnishings, housewares, toys, food, health & beauty products, and seasonal products such as; lawn & garden and Christmas décor, all at “Value Driven Prices”. The store is located at Brightleaf Shopping Center, 8482 West Marlboro Road. Roses is open everyday from 8 am to 9 pm.

The Farmville Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Friday, April 23 for Two Brothers New York Pizzeria located at 3750 South Main Street. Farmville's newest restaurant offers New York style pizza and a large selection of pasta dishes. Brothers John and Mike Kelly invite you to try their handmade pizza. Home delivery is also available. Ask them about "movie nights" on Thursdays. Restaurant hours are 10:30 am - 9:30 pm Monday through Saturday for dining in. Delivery is available 10:30 am - 11:00 pm Monday through Saturday. The Farmville Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, January 14 to welcome two new businesses to our community.
Plank Road Steakhouse located at 3689 E. Wilson Street were welcomed to the community. The restaurant is owned and operated by Bert Smith and Salvador Tinoco. Hours are 5 - 9 pm weekdays, 5 - 10 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11:30 - 2:30 on Sunday. Call 753-3535 for more information or to make your reservation. The Chamber also welcomed Deli-Ca-Sea and owners Aaron Coley, Kevin Moore and Eric Moore to the downtown community. The market offers fresh seafood to the community with plans for further expansion. They are located at 3699 E. Wilson Street. Hours are 11 - 7 -Tuesday through Friday and 9 - 4 on Saturday. Call 753-3474 for more information.

The Farmville Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting to welcome two new businesses to our community.
Life's Little Pleasures (252-814-5343) will offer antiques, resale and consignments. Esquivel Home Improvement (252-227-2622) specializes in structural repairs.  Both business are located at 8527-D West Marlboro Road in Farmville and are open Tuesday thru Saturday 10 - 6.

The Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting on Friday, October 9 to welcome Dixon's Flowers and Design at 3869 South Main Street. The florist will serve the community with cut flowers, potted plants, funeral arrangements and wedding coordination. They also provide delivery service.
